Spec Della Serena 24,000 BTU 230V Senville Elite 24,000 BTU 230V Photo Our score SCORE 7.3 / 10 SCORE 7.6 / 10 Our take Keeps 87% of its rating at 5°F, the best retention in the Serena line, for a bigger shop where winters stay above 5°F. Makes less at 5°F than the 18K (20,000 vs 22,600) and NEEP files it as centrally ducted; the least-documented Elite size. Nominal size 24,000 BTU 24,000 BTU Voltage 230V 230V Rated heat at 47°F 24,000 BTU/h 24,000 BTU/h Heat at 17°F 22,400 BTU/hbest 17,100 BTU/h Heat at 5°F 20,800 BTU/hbest 20,000 BTU/h Lowest heating temp 5°F -22°Fbest Max heat at lowest temp n/a 10,200 BTU/h SEER2 22 25best HSPF2 (Region IV) 10 11best Install type Flare Flare Line set in box 16.4 ftbest 16 ft Max line run 98.4 ft n/a Warranty covers owner install Conditional No Warranty, parts n/a 10 yr Warranty, compressor n/a 10 yr ENERGY STAR Cold Climate Yes Yes ENERGY STAR Yes Yes Refrigerant R-32 R-454B Watch out for The listing says "Pre-Charged", but Della's FAQ says the lines are not pre-vacuumed; it is a flare-and-vacuum install. Della's printed manual says the extended warranty is for professional installation; the current web policy gives registered DIY installs replacement parts at Della's discretion. Screenshot it the day you buy. Della also sells Vario, Optima Pro, Hyper Heat and older R410A lines; most owner reports are about those. Senville's FAQ says no to owner installs; warranty registration asks for the installing company and invoice. Senville's site lists higher HSPF2 than the AHRI figures on NEEP; we use the certified numbers. No published max line length for the 24K; Senville's page lists 24.0 SEER2 / 11.0 EER2 vs 25.0 / 14.0 on NEEP.
