Our scoreSCORE6.6 / 10SCORE7.0 / 10
Our takeThe 7,500 W ceiling heater to buy for its 4,700 W low setting, which suits mild days better than the CZ230ER's 6,250 W low. It needs a licensed electrician, a 40 A circuit and 8 AWG copper, and its remote thermostat stops at 50°F.50% more heat than the CZ220 with a 45-95°F digital thermostat, remote and timer. Its LOW is still 6,250 W, so in a smaller garage it mostly cycles at near full power, and it needs a 40 A circuit.

HIGH/LOW can only be changed while the heater is heating.1-year warranty; after 30 days the heater ships to World and Main freight prepaid. Comfort Zone's product page says it needs a 240V plug; the manual says hardwired, and there's no plug in the box.
