Buy it when this is the main heat in a cold climate and a licensed contractor is installing it.

Watch out forInstall type 'quick-connect' assumes MRCOOL's optional No-Vac line set; the system also ships for flare or braze connections with a vacuum. Some Amazon listings carry older CENTRAL-xx-HP-230A00 model codes; match the 230B00-O suffix. The install manual still calls for a licensed installer and licensed field piping; the warranty is what exempts a Quick Connect install.Amazon Sapphire titles show old SEER figures ("21.5 SEER" on the 24K); confirm the SAPxxHP230V1R32AH/AO model numbers. Gree's submittal prints lower 17°F figures than the certified NEEP ratings; go by NEEP. Gree's warranty applies only to installs by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor, and claims are contractor-only.
