Spec ACiQ Essentials 24,000 BTU 230V (R32) Gree Sapphire R32 24,000 BTU 230V Photo Our score SCORE 6.4 / 10 SCORE 7.5 / 10 Our take 16,000 Btu/h at 5°F per ACiQ, 67% of its rating, on a 30 A circuit. Size it from a load calculation; the data sheet and the listing disagree on room size. Out-heats the bigger Livo 30K at 5°F and still lists 17,000 BTU/h at -22°F. Buy it when this is the main heat in a cold climate and a licensed contractor is installing it. Nominal size 24,000 BTU 24,000 BTU Voltage 230V 230V Rated heat at 47°F 24,000 BTU/h 24,000 BTU/h Heat at 17°F 18,000 BTU/h 23,000 BTU/hbest Heat at 5°F n/a 24,000 BTU/h Lowest heating temp -4°F -22°Fbest Max heat at lowest temp 13,000 BTU/h 17,000 BTU/hbest SEER2 20 27best HSPF2 (Region IV) 9.5 10best Install type Flare Flare Line set in box 16 ft n/a Max line run 65 ft 131 ftbest Warranty covers owner install No No Warranty, parts 4 yr 5 yrbest Warranty, compressor 6 yr 7 yrbest ENERGY STAR Cold Climate No n/a ENERGY STAR No n/a Refrigerant R-32 R-32 Watch out for Two Essentials 20 SEER2 lines exist: this R32 one (model numbers with -32-) and an R-454B one with different numbers; NEEP lists only the R-454B units. The 5°F and -4°F figures are ACiQ's own maximums from its submittal, not NEEP or AHRI ratings. Warranty is 3 yr parts / 5 yr compressor unregistered; 4 / 6 needs registration within 90 days, and the whole system must be installed and diagnosed by an EPA-certified technician. Sold on Amazon by HVACDirect Online. Amazon Sapphire titles show old SEER figures ("21.5 SEER" on the 24K); confirm the SAPxxHP230V1R32AH/AO model numbers. Gree's submittal prints lower 17°F figures than the certified NEEP ratings; go by NEEP. Gree's warranty applies only to installs by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor, and claims are contractor-only.
