Our take
A sensible in-wall heater for a bathroom, bedroom or office up to about 200 sq ft: 2,000 W on 240 V with a built-in thermostat. The fan is audible, and the 240 V circuit is the electrician's job.
The plug-in route if you have, or will add, a dedicated 30 A circuit with a NEMA 6-30R outlet, and a heater you can store in summer. Its manual says floor use only, not for household use, and not to leave it running unattended for long.

Watch out for
Hardwired 240 V; a licensed electrician runs the circuit. A 120 V Com-Pak on a 240 V circuit destroys the heater and can start a fire; match the label. Not on the 2000 CPSC Cadet recall list (models FW, FX, LX, TK, ZA, Z, RA, RK, RLX, RX, RW, ZC).
The product page advertises wall or ceiling mounting; the manual says floor heater only. Go by the manual. Not for areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
