Both Comfort Zone heater manuals call for a working smoke detector nearby, and any fuel-burning heat calls for a CO alarm. Our default for a furnace, air handler or dehumidifier lifting water up to about 10 ft, with the overflow switch the bare UL lacks. Plan on motor noise and a check valve that needs cleaning.
