Our scoreNot reviewed yetSCORE5.9 / 10
Our takeThe bigger 115V WallMaster, 13,500 BTU nominal with a 6,000 BTU low step, for a large room with a 27 in sleeve. CEER 13.2 uses about 20% less power than an LG at 10.6 for the same cooling. The large Amana J, 14,600 BTU/h cooling. Its 3.5 kW strip is the same as the 12,000's, so once it's on strip heat it heats no better; size it on cooling.

Watch out forSame sleeve and grille cautions as the smaller WallMaster. ENERGY STAR lists the older WCVT12B10A at these figures; we found no record for the B.Warranty is 5-year limited, but years 2-5 cover functional parts only (no labor) and labor needs an authorized PTAC servicer; faulty installation is excluded. No control pad on the unit; a wired wall or Amana wireless thermostat is required. Amana's K-series (PTH123K) is the older R-410A platform with different ratings.
