Our takeThe larger of GE's discontinued window heat pumps, CEER 13.2. Useful as a reference for what a window heat pump can do in the cold, not something we'd hunt down used. The R-410A model from Amana's 2023 redesign, rated 11,600 BTU/h cooling at EER 11.0. It needs a wall thermostat, and Amana's warranty PDF doesn't name the K series, so get written terms.

Watch out forDiscontinued per owners.Warranty is 5-year limited, but years 2-5 cover functional parts only (no labor) and labor needs an authorized PTAC servicer; faulty installation is excluded. Amana's site now lists only J (R-32) models; the K looks like it's being phased out.
