It's a spec-sheet pick: we've seen no owner reports, and the heat still stops below 41°F. The window unit we'd put in a bedroom first: inverter, compressor outside the glass, CEER 15 and a suffix that isn't recalled. Skip it if your window is short or you need heat; no U has a heat mode. Owners of earlier U models report a high-pitched inverter whine some people hear and others don't; buy where returns are easy and run it overnight on low fan in week one. When we checked in October 2026 this listing had no featured offer, only a third-party seller. Comfort Sense (remote sensor) fixes the built-in sensor's wrong room reading.
