Our takeA budget 6,000 BTU box unit for 150-250 sq ft with a remote and auto restart. Not a Midea U and not recalled; we prefer the Frigidaire FHWC063TC1 at the same price for its fuller specs and airflow. The most efficient small window unit we cover, CEER 15.5 and ENERGY STAR Most Efficient, in a box chassis. Owners who had both reported its compressor whine less often than the Midea U's; Amazon had no offers, so buy it from LG.
