Our takeThe small 5th Gen condenser, up to three heads with the new 6K units: 13,300 Btu/h at 5°F total. For two rooms, two single-zone units give more heat.Full rated output at 5°F, matching the Olympus E Star 18k value for value, and it cost less than the Amazon Olympus when we checked. Licensed install required.

Watch out forThe 4th Gen multi-zone (C suffix, R-410A) is a different system; its 18K ran two zones, not three. On earlier generations owners report idle heads still heating or cooling and rooms overshooting setpoint; there is no long 5th Gen record yet. Line sets are one-time installs; runs past the standard 24.6 ft per head and ducted (AHU) air handlers call for added refrigerant per the manual. Sold on Amazon by a third-party seller in small quantities; condenser only, heads and line sets sold separately.The Amazon 18k listing gives 2 yr parts / 7 yr compressor; confirm the term for the model you receive. The Amazon Aura listings don't state refrigerant. The 12k listing (SENA-12HF-16) shows a 25.5 efficiency figure that matches the older R-410A Aura and a 2 yr parts / 7 yr compressor warranty field; confirm model and refrigerant before you pay. Current R-454B wall pairings are SENA-xxHF-OG + SENA-xxHF-IGG; older R-410A pairings end /OQ + /IQ. Senville's site lists higher HSPF2 and 47°F heat than the AHRI figures on NEEP; we use the certified numbers. Senville's FAQ says no to owner installs, and the warranty requires a licensed HVAC contractor.
