Spec MrCool Easy Pro 12,000 BTU 115V Gree Sapphire R32 12,000 BTU 230V Photo Our score SCORE 5.8 / 10 SCORE 7.5 / 10 Our take Cheaper than the DIY 5th Gen 12k, but it makes 6,700 BTU/h at 5°F to the 5th Gen's 8,400, ships an 11.5 ft line set and a warranty that skips the lines. Fine for a bedroom with the outdoor unit right behind the wall. Makes about as much heat at 5°F as a Livo 18K and heats to -22°F. The pick within Gree if this is a room's main heat. Nominal size 12,000 BTU 12,000 BTU Voltage 115V 230V Rated heat at 47°F 12,000 BTU/h 12,200 BTU/h Heat at 17°F 7,400 BTU/h 13,000 BTU/hbest Heat at 5°F 6,700 BTU/h 12,200 BTU/hbest Lowest heating temp -13°F -22°Fbest Max heat at lowest temp 3,400 BTU/h 8,500 BTU/hbest SEER2 19.5 29.5best HSPF2 (Region IV) 9.3 10best Install type Quick-connect Flare Line set in box 11.5 ft n/a Max line run 75 ft 131 ftbest Warranty covers owner install Yes No Warranty, parts 3 yr 5 yrbest Warranty, compressor 5 yr 7 yrbest ENERGY STAR Cold Climate No n/a ENERGY STAR No n/a Refrigerant R-454B R-32 Watch out for Our link is an IWAE bundle listing that opens on the 12k and doesn't show per-size model numbers; ask the seller to confirm the 11511DE-O suffix. The IWAE 1-year labor warranty is the seller's, not MRCOOL's. The earlier Easy Pro (outdoor suffix 11516D-O or 23016D-O, 16 ft kit) carries 1 yr parts / 2 yr compressor and needs an authorized-dealer purchase. Some Amazon titles say "5th Gen" and "16ft Lineset"; read the suffix. Current version outdoor units end 11511DE-O (9k/12k) or 23011DE-O (18k/24k). The warranty's definition of parts excludes line sets, and the quick-connect valves are one-time install. Amazon Sapphire titles show old SEER figures ("21.5 SEER" on the 24K); confirm the SAPxxHP230V1R32AH/AO model numbers. Gree's submittal prints lower 17°F figures than the certified NEEP ratings; go by NEEP. Gree's warranty applies only to installs by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor, and claims are contractor-only.
