Spec Senville Leto 24,000 BTU 230V Della Serena 24,000 BTU 230V Photo Our score SCORE 6.4 / 10 SCORE 7.3 / 10 Our take The Leto that holds the most of its rating at 5°F (71%), and the one we'd pick if you want a Leto mainly for heat. Keeps 87% of its rating at 5°F, the best retention in the Serena line, for a bigger shop where winters stay above 5°F. Nominal size 24,000 BTU 24,000 BTU Voltage 230V 230V Rated heat at 47°F 24,000 BTU/h 24,000 BTU/h Heat at 17°F 20,800 BTU/h 22,400 BTU/hbest Heat at 5°F 17,000 BTU/h 20,800 BTU/hbest Lowest heating temp 5°F 5°F SEER2 18.7 22best HSPF2 (Region IV) n/a 10 Install type Flare Flare Line set in box n/a 16.4 ft Max line run 164 ftbest 98.4 ft Warranty covers owner install No Conditional Warranty, parts 5 yr n/a Warranty, compressor 5 yr n/a ENERGY STAR Cold Climate Yes Yes ENERGY STAR n/a Yes Refrigerant R-454B R-32 Watch out for NEEP marks it ENERGY STAR Cold Climate but not ENERGY STAR, an inconsistent combination; check the ENERGY STAR directory if a rebate depends on it. Amazon Leto listings don't state refrigerant; current R-454B pairings are SENL-xxCD-OL + SENL-xxCD-ILL, older R-410A ones end /OY + /IY. Senville's FAQ says no to owner installs, and the warranty requires a licensed HVAC contractor. The listing says "Pre-Charged", but Della's FAQ says the lines are not pre-vacuumed; it is a flare-and-vacuum install. Della's printed manual says the extended warranty is for professional installation; the current web policy gives registered DIY installs replacement parts at Della's discretion. Screenshot it the day you buy. Della also sells Vario, Optima Pro, Hyper Heat and older R410A lines; most owner reports are about those.
