Our takeLG's 115V 12,000-class wall unit, rated 11,800 BTU for about 530 sq ft. Cooling only, and its CEER is the weakest of the 115V sizes. The December 2024 12,000 BTU U at CEER 15.2, not recalled. Hard to find; the current V1UWT is the easier buy.

Watch out forLG strongly recommends a new LG sleeve; if you reuse an old one without redirecting its rear louvers, a failure isn't covered. Warranty is 1 year parts and labor from an LG authorized dealer. Replaces the LT1216CER, which LG also rated 11,800 BTU despite the 12,000 name.Midea sold the U2QWT and the recalled U1QWT with the same CEER ratings and near-identical titles; one digit separates them.
