Watch out forLG strongly recommends a new LG sleeve; if you reuse an old one without redirecting its rear louvers, a failure isn't covered. Warranty is 1 year parts and labor from an LG authorized dealer. Replaces the LT1216CER, which LG also rated 11,800 BTU despite the 12,000 name.CPSC recall #25320 (June 2025) covers the 8,000-12,000 BTU V1QWT, AV1QWT, W1QWT and U1QWT Midea U models over mold from pooled water. Read the suffix on the listing and again on the box label. The recalled 12,000 BTU models are MAW12V1QWT, MAW12AV1QWT, MAW12W1QWT and MAW12U1QWT.
