Our takeOnly for a large room up to 700 sq ft where the wall already has a 250V, 15 A receptacle. It's the least efficient of the four at CEER 9.3, and still cooling only. The large Amana J, 14,600 BTU/h cooling. Its 3.5 kW strip is the same as the 12,000's, so once it's on strip heat it heats no better; size it on cooling.

Watch out forLG strongly recommends a new LG sleeve; if you reuse an old one without redirecting its rear louvers, a failure isn't covered. Warranty is 1 year parts and labor from an LG authorized dealer. Despite being the 230V model, it has no heat.Warranty is 5-year limited, but years 2-5 cover functional parts only (no labor) and labor needs an authorized PTAC servicer; faulty installation is excluded. No control pad on the unit; a wired wall or Amana wireless thermostat is required. Amana's K-series (PTH123K) is the older R-410A platform with different ratings.
