Our takeThe one Easy Pro size we'd consider for a garage that needs real heat: 17,000 BTU/h at 5°F, a little ahead of the DIY 5th Gen 24k, on a 230V circuit. You give up efficiency and warranty to get it.Out-heats the bigger Livo 30K at 5°F and still lists 17,000 BTU/h at -22°F. Buy it when this is the main heat in a cold climate and a licensed contractor is installing it.

Watch out forAn Amazon "Easy Pro Series" 24k listing gives part number EZPRO-24-HP-23016-MPN, the old 16 ft model. The earlier Easy Pro (outdoor suffix 11516D-O or 23016D-O, 16 ft kit) carries 1 yr parts / 2 yr compressor and needs an authorized-dealer purchase. Some Amazon titles say "5th Gen" and "16ft Lineset"; read the suffix. Current version outdoor units end 11511DE-O (9k/12k) or 23011DE-O (18k/24k). The warranty's definition of parts excludes line sets, and the quick-connect valves are one-time install.Amazon Sapphire titles show old SEER figures ("21.5 SEER" on the 24K); confirm the SAPxxHP230V1R32AH/AO model numbers. Gree's submittal prints lower 17°F figures than the certified NEEP ratings; go by NEEP. Gree's warranty applies only to installs by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor, and claims are contractor-only.
