Our takeFor a big open zone with a licensed contractor lined up: 23,000 BTU/h at 5°F, 77% of its rating. A DIY install leaves it with no Gree warranty.Holds its full 27,000 Btu/h rating at 5°F, about 50% more than MrCool's DIY 27K, but needs a licensed installer and turns down only to 8,400 Btu/h.

Watch out forThe 30K listing's bullets copy old LIVO+ text ("16-SEER"); go by the model LIV30HP230V1R32AH/AO. The LIVO+ (LIVS..., R-410A, 16 SEER) and Livo Gen 3 / Gen 4 (4LIV, R-410A) are different units; confirm both model numbers end R32AO and R32AH. The 18K Amazon listing titled "Gree R32 LIVO+" reports the R-410A LIVS18HP230V1B; we don't link it. Gree's warranty applies only to installs by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor, and claims are contractor-only.MOA outdoor units are listed as R-454B on Senville's pages and NEEP; NEEP lists the MOB units as R-410A, and an owner of an earlier SENA-28HF-MOA reports R-410A. Confirm the refrigerant on the label. Senville's FAQ says owner installs are not supported; the warranty certificate requires a licensed professional, and labor is never covered.
